How Flexiciser Works

Healthy active individuals don't think about the impact that loss of movement has on your body - physically and emotionally. The body was designed to move to keep it healthy. Once you've lost the ability to control your body's movement, you also lose your independence. If you are injured in an accident, or suffer from a disease or birth defect that restricts body movement, alternative methods of movement must be attained.

An individual can sit in either a wheelchair or a chair to use the Flexiciser. If in a wheelchair, simply wheel up to the unit, there is no transfer required. Strap your feet to the pedals with the Velcro straps, and hold on to the handlebars. If you are unable to hold on to the handlebars yourself, use our FlexiGrips to assist you.

Turn on the Flexiciser and you will experience the movement of your arms and legs simultaneously in a natural elongated stride with full Range of Motion without weight bearing on joints. Arms, legs and trunk are moved in three modes (passive, active, resistive) in a smooth, steady and coordinated walking motion.

The control panel has a 60-minute timer, a speed control from 0-60 RPM and an on/off switch at your finger tips.

Flexiciser Flexibility and Functionality:

  • PASSIVE: The FlexiGrip empowers even paralyzed limbs to move through the "natural-stride" motion.
  • ACTIVE: FlexiMotor helps you control smooth coordinated arm & leg motion.
  • RESISTIVE: Work against the powerful FlexiMotor for efficient isometric strength training.
